Among those of us who know about quality dairy products, California is not known to be that type of producer. Rather California dairy producers are mostly corporate factory farms, using large amounts of artificial growth hormones. Unless your a resident of California and you want to do your part and support a local dairy producer or lower your carbon footprint (sustainability), it is advised one not purchase dairy products west of the Mississippi.
