What is difference between body butter &body cream?

is body butter good as mouister pourposWhat is difference between body butter %26amp;body cream?
Body Butter, is a smooth goes on like its name, like butta consistency. The cream, is more runnier and a whipped consistencyWhat is difference between body butter %26amp;body cream?
body butter is way thicker and hard to rub in. id go for the body cream
I've tried both. I find that Body butter is has more of substance than regular body cream. It leaves the body feeling softer.
Marketing!
Its all in the consistency

Body Cream is a lotion and butter is much thicker and more solid usually in a tub!
For quality products, body butters are far better moisturizers, they melt at 100 degrees, your skin + friction and are a solid at 98.6 degrees. When it goes back to a solid it makes a barrier so your skin will not dry out.

There are only three quality ones on the market, forget Victoria Secret or Bath and Body works

Clinique - $23.00

The Body Shop - $17.00

Delon + - $5.00

If you get anything else, pay less for a body cream.
body butter is body BUTTER body cream is body CREAM altough i think body butter is a moisturiser as well as cream
Nowt really....it just sounds good.
body butter is more oily in a good way so it is better for dry skin people to use body butter than body cream
One goes between 2 slices of bread, the other goes on your trifle. You decide.
body butters are denser, body creams contain more water. In terms of moisture body butters are better.
Theres not much difference in that they both moisturise the skin, however, body butter tends to be thicker than the cream. Just like the difference between butter and cream in your fridge!
If you have extra dry skin go for the body butter. I like the ones from the body shop. I think they run for about $18 for the larger tub. It moisturizes your skin very well and its not stick at all and the smell is great. My favorite is the mango, but the coconut also smells good. If you have a little dry skin you can just go for the body cream. I haven't tried any yet. I only tried the body lotion and butter.
