It would've been better not to, but no point freaking out about it now. You're so close that it won't affect the baby's development any. Just don't do it again and good luck with the impending birth!!HELP! i have just used tea tree antiseptic cream on my body, and im 40 weeks preg, should i be worried?

from what betsy site says you should already be in the hospital call your doctor!!!
I wouldn't think one application at 40 weeks is a big concern.

It isn't contraindicated during breastfeeding so I assume not that much is absorbed. And believe me you can trust what Hale says when it comes to breastfeeding safety.

40 weeks! Any day now, huh! Don't worry about it! Your baby didn't get any of that tea tree oil. Good luck and congrats!
You're 40 weeks??? I wouldn't worry. No development to worry about messing up.... but I wouldn't eat it!!
