I've started shaving recently, and I shave without shaving cream. I use body wash instead. It works alright, but after I shave, I see these black dots all over my legs. And after a day or less, if I run my hand over my legs, it feels all prickly. Would shaving cream help? Or something else?Is shaving cream better than body wash?
Since shaving cream is designed especially for shaving, it would work better for most people. However if you'd rather stick with body wash, make sure you have an rich lather worked up before shaving.
Also, the black dots is a sign that the razor is either blunt (not shaving off the hair as short as possible) and that means you need to change it.
I recommend Venus Embrace, I have dark coarse hair on my legs and the results last for a few days.Is shaving cream better than body wash?
thick lather body wash and razor; or ready to use wax strips :)

ReplyDeleteI believe shave gel is better than body wash, as it's designed to provide the necessary lubricant to provide the best shave. However, it's also designed to not clog up your razor.
