I'm naturally very pale and it drives me mad, it looks like i'm ill :|
I don't wanna use proper fake tan stuff cos my skin is quite sensitive and dry.
Whats the best stuff to use to give you a natural tan whilst you're moisturising?
Something that i can put on in the morning or after i shower or whatever?
I'm 18.
Is Dove good?
Thanks xWhats the best body lotion/cream to use to give you a gradual tan?
Bare Bronze products at Victoria's Secret are AMAZING. they run around $17.50. i use the ';light to medium'; self tan mousse (i prefer the mousse over the lotion because its easier to apply and you dont miss any spots) and the facial moisturizer cause i'm super white in the face too :/ i love them. doesn't leave you orangey looking at all, moisturizes, and lasts a pretty long time. they have one with and one without tint-- the difference is that with tint will give you an instant temporary tan while its still working underneath and without tint it won't. it depends on what you want. all you have to do is put it on every night or every other night after you shower for about a week or until you get the color you want, then you switch to just once or twice a week to maintain it.
also, important self tanning tip: remember to ALWAYS ALWAYS exfoliate before putting on any kind of self tanner, because there's a possibility of leaving streaks if you dont. exfoliating with a scrub removes dead skin cells and evens out your skin tone. Bare Bronze also sells an exfoliating scrub, but you can use any you find in walgreens.. they're usually cheaper.
hope that helps!Whats the best body lotion/cream to use to give you a gradual tan?
Funny, you asked about Dove, cause I just bought some of that and I really like it. I was wanting to try something new and am quite pleased with Dove. I have tried a ton of other tanning lotions, too. They pretty much all do the same thing, I think. So I mostly go with the scent of them and go with the one I like that smells good to me. And Dove smells good and isn't to strong and it doesn't conflict at all with my perfume. I remember....I think it was L'Oreal or Jergens that smelled strong on me and my daughter thought I stunk. LOL. So I stopped using that kind.
Dove is absolutely amazing. It makes your skin soft and as long as you exfoiliate before you use it. I've had tons of compliments with it: ';your skin is unbelievably soft'; and '; you look radiant';.
I always do it after I shower. Make sure you don't put clothes on till it dries.
I would recommend Evian holiday skin lotion.
It's a gradual self tanner, so that you dont look like you've been tanning all summer within minutes. It gives you a slightly darker colour with every application
hope this helps =)
jergens natural glow daily moiturizer. it gives just enough color so you dont look fake and orange and you can make a darker tan with more applications or a lighter one with a little bit
Jergens, Clarins, yeah Dove is ok too. I use Banana Boat spray mist. Took me only 2 hours this morning to get a great tan.
I find Johnson's holiday sun is good and it is a good moisture to.
