What's the difference between body lotion and body cream (if any)?

just the name..What's the difference between body lotion and body cream (if any)?
Lotion is usually more water based where creams are more concentrated. Body butters are even more thick. Body butters work great, but they tend to clog pores more easily and should be used very sparingly.What's the difference between body lotion and body cream (if any)?
Body cream is thicker, more concentrated, body lotion is not concentrated, and is lighter.
Its the same thing....they just want more attention. by changing the name ...for example: Cell phone is the same as cellular phone.
A cream is thicker than the lotion.
creams are heavier and richer than lotions....usually greasier too!
Lotion is liquid, creams are thick.
