What do you do with empty body cream and face cream jars?

Some body creams and face creams are packed in small jars by manufacturers. Since the content is minimal, what should we do with the empty cream jars instead of throwing them away?

I am a bit concerned because I use a 50ml tub for my face every 3 months. And a 1L tub for my body every 3 months.

Any ideas? What do you do with empty body cream and face cream jars?
How about this? Hot glue pretty fabric to the outside. Fill it up with plain white table sugar. Then add your favorite shower gell for a delightful exfoliating scrub. I keep a jar in my mudroom. It's great for getting grease off my hands when I work on my car. Also makes lovely gifts. What do you do with empty body cream and face cream jars?
If they aren't recyclable (I'd be surprised if you would be unable to recycle them), why not use them to store knick-knacks and spare bits in your garage, using labels? For instance, one for nuts and bolts, another for nails, etc. Everyone has bits that they need sorting and organizing, and this could help you.

Best of luck . . .
I recycle mine.
This would be an option for only larger containers really, but it's worked for me.

I'm not always able to recycle things, so if I can't, I stuff them with other types of garbage. Like wrappers or anything else that is small and can be packed into the containers. That way I'm not throwing away a big container and having *empty space* basically due to the emptiness of containers.
You can recycle them if they contain a triangle on the bottom of the jar. Sometimes people use them for storage of small objects or additional creams.
I wash them and save them for storing my herbs in. (I need a lot, I'm a herbalist LOL)
