What's the difference between body butter, body cream, and lotion?

Seriously, what's the difference? What's the difference between body butter, body cream, and lotion?
Body Butter is made with Shea butter. It's quite thick and absorbs more slowly than lotion. It's great for dry winter skin but kind of unappealing in hot weather.

Body cream is a bit lighter and made with a variety of ingredients.

Lotion is thinner and more easily absorbed. It's more appealing in hot weather or for skin that isn't that dry. What's the difference between body butter, body cream, and lotion?
nothing..they're all stuff to moisturize ur skin. this way, they just get more money for it! yay.
Body butter usually is or contains cocoa butter, very good for the skin. The last two are usually different in consistency, think Noxzema for body creme and lubriderm for body lotion.
