I know the texture is different...but that's all I know about the differences..What's the difference between body lotion and body cream? When are each used? Why?
A body lotion is thinner and lighter than a body cream and suitable for a young skin. It should be rubbed into the dry areas or from head to toe. A body cream is richer and thicker and is suitable for a more mature, dehydrated skin and can also be used just on dry areas or from head to toe. This I know as I have been an Avon Lady for nearly 20 years! Both are best used after a bath to hydrate or moisturise skin,or last thing at night as the skin heals itself more while you sleep. I think that the body cream is for dryer areas, and tougher skin, like knees, feet and elbows.
